A brief introduction ...

I am an interdisciplinary mathematician with interest in many areas of Applied Mathematics. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in mathematics & statistics at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST), Ghana; Master’s degree in applied mathematics – reservoir mechanics from University of Bergen, Norway; Master’s degrees in mathematics, statistics, and curriculum & instructions from the University of Vermont and Doctorate in mathematical sciences from the University of Vermont. Well, I have other degrees, diplomas, certifications and awards to display when necessary.....

Teaching ...

I love teaching and engaging students in their learning process. Therefore, my passion for students and learning and my dedication towards students’ success are my main goals. I uses my strong interdisciplinary background and good researched-based teaching practices to make mathematics applicable to all students. I believe that ALL students can learn mathematics if appropriate instructional strategies are applied; meaningful and relevant examples are used; best possible learning environment are created; proper evaluation, assessments and reflection are made.

Research ...

As an interdisciplinary mathematician, my research is grounded in the theories and methods found in statistical and numerical computation fields with applications to human physiology, epidermiology, social sciences, economic, and education. The strength of my research is that any student who is interested in getting research experience in any of my areas of interest is welcomed to participate. Student Education and Learning, Publications, Conference presentations, Talks, and Workshops are few of the ways I disseminates my research findings.
